The purpose of a fire hydrant testing is it must be able to supply adequate water to QFES when needed to fight a fire on your property. What this means to you, is it must have maintenance and testing as per the design criteria so the sytem is ready when required

We test your hydrants to AS1851 section 4
All hydrant systems require to be maintained and tested to AS1851 2012. That is monthly if it has a pump, 6 monthly and annual. A 5 yearly is the complete overhaul of the system with flow testing to simulate a fire brigade appliance connected to your system.

We do 5 yearly boosted flow testing with our own pumps to AS1851 section 4 and can issue you a form 72
